Hi,

My name is Matt Caulfield, otherwise known as “oh, the Tai Chi guy?” (hence the name of the site!). I have been involved in Martial Arts for 25 years and have been teaching varies styles, especially Thai Boxing, for 12 years. I started learning Tai Chi 10 years ago to recover from an illness and started teaching in 2007.

I teach the Chen Man Ch’ing form, push hands, Chi Kung and self defence applications.

I have learned Tai Chi with the Kai Ming Association, one of the most respected Tai Chi schools in the UK, under the auspices of the chief instructor Mark Peters. I am their contact and trainer for South Wales.

Other than Tai Chi, I run an NLP training and consultancy business and write a regular blog advocating Mindfulness and a Slower pace of life.

Due to other commitments I currently only teach one to one sessions, but still take bookings for groups and organisations (such as community groups and the NHS), if you would like to book a session or discuss anything in more detail please contact me.

Matt
